The masters of Shaolin. It was one of my childhood dreams since I saw Bruce Lee on television. One day — to train with the Shaolin monks. Which is what I am doing since 2012. The Chinese Shaolin temple has a subsidiary in Vienna, Austria.
Shaolin is a Buddhist temple in the middle of China. It has a long history and tradition. In 495 B.C., an Indian monk traveled to the monastery of the Shaolin monks and taught them martial arts. The rest is a legend.
Dr. Ding is managing director of the charity organization Shaolin Tempel Germany. He studied German in Shanghai, international relationships in Beijing, and political sciences in Berlin. In his book “Die 5 Geheimnisse der Shaolin (german version)” he gives deep insight into the order of Shaolin.
