Besides consulting with a mental health professional, what often helps is:

- Check your sleep. Do you get 7-8 hours per day?

- Check your nutrition habits. Wholefood? Or industrial junk food?

- Check your exercise? Do you get 15-30 minutes walking outside every day?

- Check your consumption of alcohol and similar drugs. They alter your brain chemistry.

- Check your level of quiet time alone. Whether we like it or not, humans need a couple of hours every week unplugged and alone.
