The last time Apple was a first movers was back in the 70s, when Steve Wozniak practically single handedly developed the fully assembled personal computer.

Since then they have a reputation to take existing tech and disrupt the industry - iPod, mobile phone, watches,

No wonder they are late.

The collaboration with Meta is interesting. Apple has capitalized in the business community on its reputation of respecting privacy of data.

Meta doesn’t have exactly this reputation.

I see an alliance between meta and Apple as potentially harmful to Apples business eco-system.

Time will tell.
