Interesting. If Starbucks reworks itself to just be a coffee pick point - what's the future?

Starbucks was less about the coffee - it was more about "The Third Place" - a place between the office and your couch.

It didn't matter whether people brought their own food and drinks, or bought something at Starbucks. Everybody welcome to hang out.

Starbucks without this "The Third Place" hanging out atmosphere - well.... what's left then is just an overpriced coup of coffee.
