I stared at the scale and didn't want to believe what I saw two weeks ago.

110 kilogram.

Well, the days when I had 70–80 kg were about ten years ago. I was running marathons almost every month.

Since then, the direction of my body weight was only upwards. I worked myself from 80 to 90 to 100, and during the pandemic, I added another 10 to make the final score 100.

This spring, I decided to change that. Enough is enough.

I experienced the difference between high and low weight from 2013 to 2023. Having less body weight feels much better.

What happened?

What is the problem? Well, I love good food. There is nothing better than fine dining.

Slowly, since I stopped running marathons, I replaced training with snacking.

At every business event, little snacks are served constantly. Western society tends to overeat.

When I remember my youth, we mostly had three meals per day. Sometimes out of time constraints, I skipped lunch.

The habit of snacking was nothing I learned as a kid. It started with my professional work life.
