Smart people with smart ideas look like this:

1. They always have a bigger vision

2. Execution is their mission. They feel the urge to build regardless of funding

3. The urge is rooted in personal experience. They want to change something because the situation caused emotional and/or physical pain to them.

4. They understand that they are not the only one and see the potential.

5. They have access to talent for execution.

6. When they raise funds, they already have build something beyond the "in 18 months we are all rich as long as an investor gives us 10 mil right away." narrative.

7. They inform about risk and once you ask them, they are full of doubt, inscecure about their solution, but are eager to build regardless the obstacles they will face. "... and if it is the last thing I will ever do... so be it."

Forget those fancy pitchdecks. Look for driven people on a mission.
