That’s a good point here. It’s the question of where does social media fit in?

Is it the digital version of books or published articles in printed magazines?

Or is it a means of documenting the process of becoming something like a writer?

Or is it the place to test out concepts and invite other people for an open debate on different topics as part of the learning process?

I have not concluded so far but tend to see it somewhere between documenting and having conversations on first drafts.
